This is for the second phase of the authorisation process for experienced Advisers. Courses are conducted in Leeds and Andover at frequent intervals.

Adviser Development Programme

This programme was introduced to assist firms who wish to recruit non/part experienced Advisers into their practices.

The 12 month course for non-experienced entrants has helped many firms grow their own business cost effectively.

FPC2 is the minimum qualification for joining the programme, which commences with a two week training course in Leeds and is then field based with the Trainee Adviser working in the practice, under the direction of the Member Supervisor to a specified development programme.

Intermediary Development Programme

This programme is similar to the Adviser Development Programme but specifically for mortgage, general insurance and protection advisers.

It is a 6 month programme which begins with a four day course.

Supervisor Course

A three-day course designed to provide relevant training and support which will enable delegates to undertake the supervision of advisers and trainees. The content includes Recruitment and Selection, Effective observations, Analysis of Management Information, Coaching, Counselling, Training, Leadership and Motivation skills. Courses normally run every two months or more frequently to meet demands.
