Professional Development Meetings
The Professional Development Meetings (PDMs) are run over three cycles in 20 locations around the country. They are designed to help advisers meet the FSA’s new requirements for training and competence and also give the opportunity to keep abreast of industry news, meet fellow members and Interdependence staff.
The PDMs are built around a half-day morning programme and impart a series of presentations across several subjects. These serve as preparation for dedicated workshops where members can select subjects of their own choice.
Workshops
The PDMs are complemented by hundreds of individual focussed workshops on technical or skill-based subjects around the country.
Regional Conferences
We run four prestigious conferences across the country each year, which are a memorable blend of business and social content.
This year’s conference, ‘An Occasion To Remember’, is a glitz and glamour affair – all free of charge including complimentary accommodation. The conferences are being held in Leeds, Stirling, South Wales and Brighton.
Training and Development Needs Analysis
Interdependence recognises that advisers who attend its training events are effectively sacrificing their earning time, so it is vital the output of these events is tailored and relevant. To ensure this, we undertake an annual Training and Development Needs Analysis survey, meaning that adviser feedback dictates the content of future events and programmes are produced that are in tune with adviser needs.
